The painstaking effort in bringing this concert alive for the one and only Dr Lee Tian Tee was a great success. ppl asking me for cds of the concert recording alr..
Well..it started off at 4pm at the band rm (well actually it was supp to be 345 or sth and practice start at 4pm but daniel lim messed up and said report at 4pm) The afternn passed off and soon it was time to perform! blazer damn sexy but stuffy like hell!!! nice concert..best so far!!! GOOD JOB EVERYONE!!! as for Dr Lee, wish him all the best for 'GREENER PASTURES'...
and lastly to those who supported us...thank you!! it was fun standing outside the Yellow Level audi doors waiting for VIPs and saying ty for coming to all supporters. YOU GUYS ROCK!
as for me, i'm finally out of recruit band..hope to meet new faces and pass on with new pieces and enjoy music to the fullest! well, i have to say thank you to Mr Francis Tan ahem..he's the one who brought the recruit band this privilege to perform at the FOA even tho we suck after all...

Long time since i last bloggsed..
went to watch drama FOA on friday...yangjin was stupid enuff not to go...haiz..
Well, the first play was bout the Chronicles of Jane: Book Seven and was the best play to me that nite. It was about Jane dreading to do the assignment Mrs Snipely set..and had in the midst of doing it she faced many obstacles such as procrastination and sleeping...damn funny.
Second play was about some traditional stuff..didnt really understand cos the ppl who sat next to me after intermission were so noisy...fedup u noe.
Last play was the one they showcased for SYF and got GWH. It was bout a play competition..the Professer Bao was damn funny..
Yesterday, skipped cell again. Compulsory to support our band at esplanade, S'pore Intl Band Festival.. They never expected to be the only ppl to get 93/100%, a spectacular gold. But in the end...arrogance gets in the way and oh well we lost to Maris Stella...so sad. But they had more ppl and played 4 songs. Not fair.
oh well exams exams...chinese tml. hu cares? wanted to play LAN with yj but he got guitar class @ 4.30 so cancel. XP ok parents are going India for AMF..leaving tonite for short hol first...CYA

aiyo i so lazy went to sleep instead of Soymilk cell last Sat..haiz...well this week got durian trip to JB and shopping and seafood dinner!!! shiok sia!
well i knew mr tan would cancel his extra combined last sat...jus knew it! and was rite! haha flutes had to stay back today for tutorials since they so cha..no offense...
well lastly, good luck to Kong Jo for his studies in Perth...he left today at M'sia. So sorry didnt get a chance to go to the airport! got sch today...so sad. miss you! which reminds me i gotta go to his facebk now to give him good luck! cya folks!

CONCERTS AND MORE CONCERTS!!!!

oh damn it i so hate last minute concerts...one after another..well let me talk bout last last sun's dinner...cooked 4 fish outta 8 and had some dishes like omelette and chicken and all.
had cell @ merv's house on the previous sat too. like rock concert with those electric drum set thingy..not real drum la..then with the electric guitar and daniel's guitar..shiok arh! left with andris but we thot Moo and Dan were going to AMK mrt so we followed them only to be dumped as they were going to some party and wld not pass the AMK mrt lols...so we walked and walked and walked somemore and took the mrt all the way to the west..haiz...
next up was the hwa chong INSPIRE '08 concert@ the hcjc audi. First we had the two lame emcees altho the gal was better at telling jokes. jus when we were bout to fall asleep cos of the RJC dancers...the toddlers who came out caught our attention and they were super cute! firstly, they were looking at each other not knowing what to do next...and they messed up lols...but they brought us back to life anyways...GO GO!!!
the something faction crew was coolest. hha after the interval we had the Killjoys, a girl hc alumni band. Monica, the vocalist, was damn good! bet she can get into american idol with that ang mor qiang voice. lols.
finally we had some singing finally from Sheena & Shermaine...when i got back home tried to search for the Cinderella chinese song Sherm was singin but couldnt find anything...oh wells..Yang Jin said her hair was disgusting..haha didnt tell her at church yest if not she'll cry...haha...
ACJC concert! i never knew they could play so well. well i kinda didnt noe where the s'pore conference hall was and my map was in my bag and i didnt noe..anyway it was all wet so..i love the nutcracker and rhapsody in blue....SO FREAKIN NICE! went home on the mrt with jiehao and watched apprentice till 1230am. I'm not the kind who stays till 2am doing nothing.
well that was two concerts! next two are my Festival of Arts Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble concert! pls confirm with me if u're coming...it'll be fun! dont expect too much though..after that i gotta go to another FOA concert as the sch made it compulsory to buy one even if u are performing or cant make it...aiya everything so last minute...but i luv concerts altho my parents think they're a waste of money...oh wells hopefully someday their mindset will change...especially my grandmother who kips nagging and complaining although she doesnt even understand...haiz even homework due next week also mus finish NOW...so gan chiong for wad??? well cya folks!

yo! ah..happy memories still ring in my mind..so sad now start school..feel like crying for hols...oh well there's band tml n I dun wanna think bout it...feel like skipping u noe? haiz.....
the youth camp was real gd! oh i miss camps....EXCEPT BAND CAMP! we get to stay up thru the nite...lookin forward to the Geylang COC church camp in Dec....when we relive the mafian saga..
ok here's how the camp went..first we had the Amazing Race which apparently started from the church..poor danny and uncle paul n company! they had to spend the whole time getting the luggage up to the chalet and buying groceries for the cooking competition..
my team was the first to leave but unfortunately the rest caught up at the traffic junction. Well, then it was a race to see which public transport got us to the destination faster...thanks to veron and company, we had faults in calculations and this led us to losing precious time..we had to go kranji mrt to play taboo and the rest of the teams continued taking the mrt after City Hall while we got to the NS line..all hopes were high until we found out that the rest got there first like 15-20 mins earlier or more? yeps it was that bad...
so then we played taboo and thanks to gladis we got thru due to ez cards for her and all she had to sa was jus one line..u see a player had to do it within the time limit and have to ifnish 6 cards...so quite hard lor..
next station: qian hu fish corporation@choa chu kang! fr east to west lols...we lost a lot more time waiting for the shuttle fr the mrt..the other teams alr enjoying fish spa! well, anyways the spa was TERRIBLE for me...so ticklish n it's like the fish is just vibrating when it's nibbling at ur feet...the moment i see big fish..out of the water my legs go...some were like normal fish u see at the pond! yeps so huge! after that we went to lot 1 mall for makan!
when we got to the food court, the rest of the teams only had like 3 mins left b4 they met the 30 min compulsory lunch time mark...so that's how late we were...oh well at least we had fun! next stop: pasir ris park fishing pond! taking the rite bus FINALLY got us some time back..but too late! at least when we got there, veron actually managed to catch a fish within 30 sec! cool sia..we could have left then and beat all other teams...but for the fun of it..we stayed..well fish dinner at restaurant next to the pond this sun @ 7 pm so we have 8 fish to share and enjoy...well at least we know that we COULD have won..
final stop: EAST COAST PARK! yea baby but when we got there we passed by the chalet and since it was 6pm and the race was SUPPOSED to stop at that time..our tesm skipped the last sandcastle building station and missed out on the fun...veron, wei xian, gladis and I went to the beach to "carve" onto the sand and "make our mark"... fotos: definitely! then we met them while passing the long beach and no signborad and more seafood! oh heavenly! they were all drenched so they themselves had turned into seafood! haha...ok fine not funny.. didn't see their sandcastle..but we went back and headed for dinner and shower...
praise session after that was fun...then we had night walk at like 10pm? went to book bowling but grace in the end thot that nobody playing so she cancelled...nothing much to add to that walk..jus watching gals playing the catching toys game u see at arcades was boring...
next..at bout 1am we played bridge...first time in the year i spent time with the kids class..then grace led us in singing and i must say she's a terrible teacher...nv wanna go to her class ever! well then it was time to go to bed at like 4.40am?
next morning! had youth worship with joel chan leading and sermon-ing...then it was cooking competition which was real fun! i must say moo's a gd cook haha..we made beautiful pasta which was a lil hard tho...but what u expect when we only have a bunsen burner and 1 1/2 hr to cook? our main dish was salmon on omelette which was real gd except for the slight rawness...
well..then samuel closed the session while we were in the middle of bridge..i'm hooked on that game i tell u...we won the cooking comp! YEA! well cows can cook haha! jkjk..
hwa chong INSPIRE concert 4th & 5th July! the S-twins singin so dun miss it! full details jus go approach them or Han...well sch again! cant slp or wake up late anymore! BANDDD AGAINNNN NOOOOOO!!! well peace out. nite everyone

CAMPS!!!

yo ppl! phew...so many camps squeezed into one solid month! well...haven't been bloggin much..but b4 i run u guys into the camps..let me say that it's been a real slacking month. havent been goin to Soymilk outings n cell since the retreat, which is also considered a camp lol. U see, it started on the day b4 combined worship. We camped at bedok COC and stayed overnight. Meat Lover pelican pizza was dam shiok sia!
next, it was band camp..URRRGGHHH..mr tan made us run like mad fr the staff rm to band rm as we talked a lot lols...Shane's a lil (okay maybe a lot) retarded so he walked slowly and mr tan shouted at him and he ran off..after a mass search for 1h, William finally found him at the corner classroom, blue level. He kicked William in the stomach (ouch) and started throwing water bottles and shouting as mr tan, dr lee and miss chee calmed him down. The saga ended with his mum seemingly ARGUING or rather, negotiating with the 3 teachers for bout 45 min..who knows what it was about..other than that the fellowship was good! stayed up till 2am when Victor Yao interrupted our game and forced us to slp! the remnants of the pizza smelled horrible n cheesy! eww..main band get to go Japan we dun u noe!!! fed-up!
next, there's the PP church camp! it was real nice to get to know some people..and being myself when i got back to S'pore i started to get some facebk accounts and msn..paiseh hehe..finally fixed family trees together..nv knew whose sons were who..the Amazing gRace was one of my highlights for the camp other than playing dotA in my rm for the whole afternn. We went to St. Paul's church, the water wheel nearby, Jonker Street...chendol was real great! and we had two baptisms! not bad eh..i think 'outsiders' made up bout 10% of the ppl hu went to the camp..a lot of Thais..and lastly, i cant believe that i said something during devotions.
oh well...the next camp is taking place this wkend..Geylang Youth Camp! gonna have Amazing Race (what's up with all the ARs?) again, sandcastle building, kite making, cooking competition...gonna be real fun so dun miss it!

Yo ppl! today was real cool...unfortunately had boring band in the morn...had tutorials with the rest of the double bass gang hu were really doing sectionals so the tutor didnt really pay any attention to me...ooo
after that went home the o get lunch and sped to expo by mrt where i went to the Popular Fair at Hall 4. Bought Railway Simulator..gonna try it out tonite! met jiani at the cashier area...20 cashiers u noe! still not enuff for the crowd!
umm we were supp to meet at four but then they were all on their way and thanks to Laniel Diu (swap the L and D over), we didnt have any tickets coz they were all with him which in the end, caused plenty of trouble for the latecomers and himself coz he had to go outside to meet up with them. So, went to get dessert, which was none other than Bubor Cha Cha! bon appetite!
well, thnx to Laniel Diu, again, he said that the Hillsong concert was around the Max Pavillion and we actually, thx to our BRILLIANT navigator jiani, got into Citiharvest while they were speaking in tongues...thousands of ppl there and we're intruding? some more she still wanna SIT DOWN..say dun care jus sit somewhere...wa biang...go so far in then decide to come out while they were praying hehe..sneaked out!
next! well, 4pm meet up ah! yea rite! i knew nv to trust Laniel Diu and company...5pm and they were all still on the way in the cab...called Don Buo and he also in a cab..no ticket..so stand outside!!! urrghhh
well they ushered us into a holding room..awestuck by the 7000 ppl hu went there..wow! it was only at around 6-6.30 that we ended up at the REAL max pavillion....had some whacky hosts fr New Creation Church hu really organised the whole thing! David Liu was in-charge of the cameras and did a good job! (he's fr New Creation)..and i mean serious bzness! he did the big screens u see at a concert and side screens...cool rite? such a prestigious event somemore...
well..actual concert started at 7 plus...awesome start with the lights and booming base sounds...the whole concert was really deafening in fact..even David said it was loud but to him it was cool..uurrghh but my ears adjusted and i didnt feel anymore pain after about 30 mins..for those hu dont noe hillsong church..they are a really famous band fr Sydney and wrote songs like Shout to the Lord and Potter's Hand...cool sia..but this time the youth came so it's called Hillsong UNITED..see the diff?
the percussion and the base were really the main foundation..the whole band was sitting on the electric guitar, base and percussion really..plus the singers hu were dam good..soon, ppl were ready for worship and started lifting their hands unto heaven and jumping around! so amazing..moomoo cried..:(
well the concert was dam good...the linking between each song was real good too..the best song to me was 'i believe u're my healer'. well each time it seemed that the night was over, suddenly say 'it's just getting started' and ppl were hungry for more!
after the concert (around 10 plus), we walked over to simpang (EXPO TO SIMPANG!!!) which is near bedok...dam long walk..ate indian cuisine..mostly prata..the prata guy dam good at taking orders..ten of us order all memorised..cool rite? even when collecting money also can memorise..somemore that was about one hr latr! had stingray and milo dinosaur and cheese fries! delicious! well..my father was kinda mad coz quite late so he said no pulic transport and taxi got surcharge after midnite (that was five mins to midnite already) so i had to sms him back to say that we were leaving liaoz..
said bye to the rest of the gang..4 of us left: Don (staying at Laniel's house), me, David and Laniel. taxi fare should have been real high...oo
for the record..reached home at 12.40 am!!! YES!! shuang man!
well that's all..had a good time today with watching Singapore Dreaming at church! moo's parents came (all this time i didnt noe Moo's mum was actually aunty Alice! go so many times to PP oso dunno! haiz..DANIEL DANIEL)..
hopefully Yang Jin can go to Indiana Jones with me SOON! got so many options..go with Soymilk, family or him..tsktsk..bye ppl!

anw...the day started off with recruit band at 8.30!!!! jus one incident ruined my entire day! THAT'S HOW EMO I AM but nvm... 2.40pm...goin to the bus stop alr coz Mr Chan dismissed us at 2.30 coz he had to rush to a course or sth..
so...very soon, 166 came and i was ready to hop on board the bus...but unfortunately, i didnt raise my hand to signal for the bus to stop...but it did...a few metres fr the bus stop...anw i boarded and the first thing i met up with was the grumpy face of the bus driver...he scolded coz i didnt raise my hand! ok fine! i admit i was wrong but aft i apologised...he still tell me 'u think this is mrt arh!' in chinese! at first i couldnt understand coz he was murmuring..
this reminds me of yangjins case when the bus driver asked him to pay in cash but then when asked to pay adult fee, he said 'i'm a child'...then the bus driver told him to tap his card n he accidentally pressed the button and the coins clinked into the machine! so he paid $1.45 fr ACSI to Dover MRT! RIDICULOUS! n the bus driver didnt even have the courtesy to say sry or refund him!
well i'm jus blogging to get this off my mind so i can start piano lesson soon,,,i thk transportation staff shld adopt a better attitude...lyk this bus driver whom said i was smart on the bus..so nice..but many are jus the opposite. we shld hv common courtesy esp when trating customers or passengers!

okok...since u all bug me...so many things happened during the past 1 mth...can't rmb everyth..man man lai...
ok! let me start with the earliest of things..ah niang (now even worse! called JAPANESE LADY-dunno they are called wad lah) veron as well as grace went with me to watch The Leap Yrs...SO NICE!! it's a mus watch...but I dun understand how they managed to cry! maybe I'm underage..
Next..OH YEA!! Band Camp was awesome dude(s)...OH YEA!!! hey.;..if s1 from ACS (I) Symphonic Band sees this, pls leave a message k? I nid more of u guyz' contacts!!! ok..back to the camp...it was nothing but combined haha...but it was quite fun tho..the chit-chatting and all...especially at nite! haha..
third comes the Greek Sculptures from the Louvre..u may have seen the advert on the public bus...yup! it's only bout $3or $6 for child? my ez-link's lost so I had noth to prove I'm a child...luckily nv ask for it! hehe..
HOLD ON!!! i forgot! on Founder's Day, yangjin n I watched THE EYE!!! super scary! jkjk...it's a little meaningful but the scariness isn't enoough...heard that it's the 4th remake!
ok! next...Yang Jin came (for the first time n much to my excitement) to my church for the Youth Worship...but it was a lil serious since it was GD FRIDAY n all..nevertheless he enjoyed it...hey u shld come more often...coz um...that wasn't really FUN..it'll b much better if u come NEXT MONTH then u'll see the diff...
And so the next day was MY BIRTHDAY...very lonely one indeed..yangjin got tuition..only my pri sch fren cld come over..but only 2h aiyo...weheheh...but thx to all the b'day wishes I received that nite! thot u all forgot! ahem..but it made me feel better...-.-
last but not least...the day before, went to catch the ACJC Annual Band Concert, Muse...but unforunately hv to write a report on that so I didn't really get to SIT BACK N RELAX...copying down notes all the way...the oth all slack..so it made me feel awkward...nevertheless the concert was AWESOME!! nex one we still wun perform..but catch me at Esplanade on 2nd Aug! Dr Lee was real funny..number 1 he walked in so many times n seemed to be the MAIN CONDUCTOR since he took care of ACJC and ACSI...real candid..heh...didnt see yangjin even when he was asked to stand...aww..but saw all the wrong ppl..dry if I sound rude but ahem...ppl lyk KAI XIANG n DAVID CHONG n FUZZBALL (Faiz la...if that's how u spell)...Eric was there and Qi Shuan (sry if I cant spell rite)'s sis...all the double basses could be seen as they were crammed at the side at the finale together with tubas...sz to spot w BINOCS!! but the binocs low tech one la...ahem excuse me...

Today's visitation to the hospital was horrible! BInGO was so boring..some more play 2 ROUNDS! DEN WE SING SO HIGH SOUND LYK OPERA! HOW TO REACH!!!
oh well...but at least the ppl noe how to clap during my solo! ooo yea!!! n dey so sweet...esp da old lady whom i pushed...aww...she say (in cantonese) so good....got ppl help her...AWWW...
THE WORST PART was dat in the bus, the CHAIRS SO DIRTY..when u hit, all the dust flew lyk flying SAND!!! i'm not exaggerating..den worst of all they started hitting till whole bus oso have! if s1 had asthma...confirm die liao...ARRRGGHH...coz me to have runny nose...now cannot sing prop...which is oso prob y i couldnt sing well at the hospital...

Anywayz..jus came back from Science Centre! The lightning show was superb (but horribly deafening)! The currents mus hv been real great! I luv the Omni-Theatre! Makes me dc aft awhile, esp when i lean my head on the chair! Still rmb dat time when I watched Fantasia there! lolz...so fun!
Once again, hope u all have had a gd hol n CNY! no one on msn..aww...:( but at least dat means u all were spending time with ur families! gd gd..but dun foeget me ok! I wanna part in the fun! haiz...all so bz! mei you ren pei wo leh!
Too bad Pei long couldn't come to the reunion dinner the oth dae...so full without him!

The teacher forced me to do it jus bcoz i got second highest in class (not really coz 3 others oso got 2nd)! aiyo...n i still gotta prepare for CHINESE EXAM!!! i got 7 points for Geog u noe! ooo yea...but dat was onli 81/100 la...still got rm for improvement! Ai yo, Cheryl so terrible lah..col me wad Benny...makes no sense rite? siao one lah....Anywayz, cell went alrite. Met a few new ppl oth den Crazy poo poo jie jie (that's wad leon coled her) n the theme for e party was hawaiian so the girls had a few umbrellas stuck in their heads lolz...yup! n after dat it was a time of fellowship n MORE SINGING!!! oh yea! n andris wanted tuh compete with me to c hu could go higher but NO WAY CAN BEAT HER all coz the stupid voice break liaoz...HAIZ...cam!

YoYO!!! Welcome back to THE BLOG!!! haha...it's bin so long since i last blogged! Anywayz, we had a gr8 time last Sat @ Keith & Kenneth's house! Meatball mania!! The cell grp started @ around 5! Can u believe dat!!! so late! haha...actually i had gastric but beared with it..lolz! took a photo of shermaine but didnt save...ARRRGGHHH!!! tou tou pai de...haha! even Aaron didnt notice! She n Sheena were muggin' the wk bef or so! lolz...Well, school is nothing but stress! All the stupid cover pages n tests n files N ESP MONEY(!!!) r drivin me CRAZY!!!

SCH HAS STARTED!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!! But anyway, i didn't like the orientation camp tho....GGRRR...STTRRREEESSS!!! I need ter take 2 CCAs and one of them MUST be uniformn group!!! Luckily got band, if not have ter join NPCC or NCC or Boys Brigade!!! And band is 7 1/2 h a wk! I defintely passed the choir audition tho...n in soprano. I onli sing (much more nicely than the usual) if i'm comfortable with the hearer...too shy. So with Chinese Chess, CCA takes up 9 1/2h in 1 wk!! So diff from pri sch! Hopefully i get inter badminton next year! Didn't perform my best yesterday! Anyway, i would still need some courses! So if i make the sch team, i onli need 1 CCA! and the chinese chess club members told me i could drop out any time i want...so i can make the swap...but i'm still keeping band...the orchestra is real nice with 130 members (excluding the new recruits and incl. of the old ones... so the no. mite go up!! BAND RAWKS!!! Well, have a nice wk ahead at sch!

HOHOHO!!! HAPPY CHRISTMAS & A MERRY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL!!! lol...whatever shyt that came from...anyway, let's get down to business...just kidding! The badminton training yesterday was cao shiok ah!!! I actually played for 2h 30m without taking a break for no more than 3 min! I was really exhausted haha. Anyway, I am training real hard so I can get to join the badminton team at ACSI. Got ta beat the basics first rite??? Well, I'm goin' to the chalet t'day, so there will definitely be some barbecue and mahjong...I LOVE MAHJONG AND BARBECUING!!!!! YEAH!!!! There will definitely be some pics as well!! Anyway, it's gonna be heaps of fun!!! So long people!!

Well, to wrap it all up, this was really a dao mei day haha... Uncle Ray's car was broken in and both windscreens were shattered into smithereens on one side of the car. Luckily their passports weren't stolen, but their bags containing ipods n credit cards were all gone... how sad. Worst still, it was RAINING!!!! N the robbers used the credit cards to withdraw $1900 (the largest sum one can withdraw) bef they could even cancel the acc!! xin hao suan....So we had to cancel the entire plan and just SHOP n EAT!!! Woohoo!! but no more ostrich farm and lobster tho... aw....
